Reportedly to be launched on 12 May, Asus presents 2 variants in this series. Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip. Zenfone 8 Flip with a rotating camera mechanism like the previous generation, Zenfone 6 and Zenfone 7.
The Zenfone 8 Flip has an AMOLED screen measuring 6.67 inches with FHD + resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It measures 165 x 77.3 x 9.5 mm and weighs 230 grams. Not much different from the previous series, Zenfone 7.
Zenfone 8 is powered by Snapdragon 888 with 8GB RAM, 256GB internal memory and a 5000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. There are 3 cameras consisting of a 64 MP Main Camera, an 8 MP Telephoto Camera, and a 12 MP Macro Camera. Capable of recording 8k video, detailed specifications are still unknown. The existence of a prominent power button that is available is not integrated with the body. Compared to the previous series, the Asus Zenfone 8 Flip will reportedly adopt an under-screen fingerprint sensor.
In this series, Asus provides 2 variants of the Zenfone 8 Flip and Zenfone 8 which are the mini series. Zenfone 8 has a 5.92 inch screen with FHD + resolution making it the mini version of Zenfone 8. It is estimated that it will use an AMOLED screen because there is no fingerprint sensor found on the power button or on the back. All are available in 2 colors silver and Dark Gray.
Using a conventional design, there are 2 rear cameras with 64 MP Main Camera and 12 MP Macro Camera, while the Front Camera resolution is still unknown. The battery itself has a capacity of 4000 mAh, supports 30W fast charging. Supported by a slimmer body weighing 170 grams and dimensions of 148 x 68.5 x 5.9 mm. On the Zenfone 8, there is also a 3.5mm audio jack slot available.
