Google is Now More and More Resolve to Take Action on Misleading Play Store Apps!, Google has recently updated policies on its Play Store app store. Where now all application developers who distribute their applications on the Play Store will be given closer attention.
Because in this rule, Google is said to be more stringent and serious in taking action against developers who release applications to mislead users, either from the name or the application icon.
Currently, there are so many fake applications that are scattered on the Google Play Store. Where is even worse, sometimes the fake application also contains dangerous malware that infects the victim.
So from that Google also started to take steps to overcome this by paying more serious attention to fake cloning applications that were created to trick its users.
Later, the regulation also prohibits developers from using all capital letters unless it has become a brand name that existed before the application was created.
Then the application title should now not exceed 30 characters and use emojis in the title. In addition, developers are also prohibited from displaying a ‘Sale’ banner or the like on the application icon in order to attract the attention of users to download it.
Google also said that if there are still developers who violate this new rule, then Google will not hesitate to ‘kick’ the developer so that it cannot distribute its homemade applications anymore on the Google Play Store.
