Samsung won’t release the Note series this year, but promises to come again in 2022. Samsung recently held a meeting with shareholders in Suwon, South Korea, where Samsung CEO DJ Koh also said that he would not release the latest Note smartphone in 2021.
It is stated that Samsung has jumped into 2021 by not releasing a Galaxy Note smartphone due to an ‘imbalance’ in the semiconductor industry globally, meaning that the need for chipsets is very high compared to existing supplies.
DJ Koh also revealed that Samsung actually wants to release another new product this year but due to the bad situation of the chipset industry, 2022 is the right time.
Previously, there was a leak stating that Samsung would not bring any more smartphones from the Galaxy Note series in the future. But now Samsung has confirmed that they will only be absent in 2021.
